Privacy Policy — MoonTech Focus Mode

MoonTech Focus Mode ("the extension") is a website-blocking productivity tool for Google Chrome. This policy explains what information the extension handles and how.

What the extension does

MoonTech Focus Mode blocks access to a list of websites that the user configures, and temporarily unlocks a blocked website for a limited time (2 minutes) after the user enters a password directly into the extension's own interface.

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.).
• We do not track, log, or transmit your browsing history.
• The password you enter to unlock a website is checked locally on your device only. It is never transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

Information the extension does store

• Blocked website list: The list of domains you choose to block is stored using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device, and synced with a Firebase Cloud Firestore database solely so the extension can retrieve and enforce your configured block list. This list contains only website domain names (e.g. "example.com") — no personal data.
• Temporary unlock session: When you unlock a website, the extension stores locally which domain is unlocked and until what time, so it can automatically re-lock the site after the countdown expires.

Third-party services

The extension uses Google's Firebase Cloud Firestore solely to store and retrieve the configurable list of blocked website domains. No personal or browsing data is sent to Firebase.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
